Old Blackberry Emails

Is there a way to have old emails in a Blackberry (say more than 30 days) automatically expire? This would save a lot of time from having to go online to the server and manually deleting them. Thank you very much for any help.

set the auto-aging rules. Click on Manage folders and then click on each folder in the middle to set the number of days the e-mail will be there before deleting automatically. That's assuming you mean the BWC when you say "server." The easiest way of deleting from the handheld is to highlight a date, click the track wheel and choose "delete prior". That deletes all the messages on the handheld that you received before that date. 🙂

Oh, but I should add that when I say BWC, I mean www.t-mobile.com/bwc. If you go into Profiles, you can also set a wireless delete option, and then you would have to enable it in the phone by going into messages, click the trackwheel, go into options, then e-mail reconciliation or wireless reconciliation, and make sure that it deletes from handheld and server, so that when you delete from the BB, it deletes from the BWC. But if you choose the delete prior option in the phone, it will NOT delete from the BWC even with the wireless delete option on. Let me know if this makes sense.

Thanks for the help. I'm gonna try it out tomorrow and see how it goes.
