Could someone give me some feedback on T-Mobile service. I'm with Sprint now, but thinking about moving over to T-Mobile.
All comments are welcomed.

🙂 Call customer care... 1-800-937-8997. We will go over your area to make sure that you are in a good coverage area and we can even get as specific as your exact address. As far as plans are concerened, its well known that we have the most minutes for your money. We can also go over the plans that would work for you when you call im. The only concern you would have then is the coverage. Just give us a call when its convenient to you as we are open ALL THE TIME!!!

Top reasons to not switch from Sprint to T-mobile:
1) you give up the coverage you have with free and clear america.
2) you trade a 3g network with awesome call quality and go to a 2g network with frequent dropped calls and network noise.
3) No roaming with T mobile means no talking. If there is no GSM coverage then your phone will not work.
Overall T-Mobile is probably a better choice than the former AT&T or Cingular but they do not hold a candle to CDMA carriers with all of the 3G services they can offer.

🤣 The only reason to STAY AWAY from Sprint, I am in Kansas City, the corporate headquarters of Sprint, and Sprint is going downhill VERY fast. The Company has been downsizing and laying off employees left and right over the last 2 years. A company that is succesful doesnt start laying off employees. The future of Sprint is unclear at best. But I dont know anyone, at least in Kansas City, that has Sprint that isnt trying to get out of service. If you live in Podunk, Idaho, then Sprint may have service where T-Mobile doesnt, but T-Mobile has the best service in most of the major markets according to J.D. Power and assoc. Bottom line, do your homework before deciding what service provider to go with

Top reasons why what you just said is wrong.
1) While you may not be able to travel to as many places on T-Mobile's network, it is going to have better coverage where it's usually needed, along major highways and cities.
2) Sprint does not have a "3g" network. CDMA does not have any strong advantages over GSM, except that they can handle more calls per tower.
3) We have roaming agreements with AT&T, Cingular, and several smaller GSM providers. By the way, if there's no CDMA coverage, your phone won't work either.

you also forgot, with vzw you roam on the nations largest analog network, so 99% of the time you dont' get the features they promise you!

Then why is the rest of the world GSM?

I have had a cell phone for for quite some time now and have had many different carriers as well. I switched from AT&T to TMOBILE and have loved it ever since. yes i have had the occasional dropped call once in a while, but hey it's a cell phone not a land line so that does not bother me. Overall i have been satisfied with the service and customer care. The most important lesson i have learned with having any carrier is to call customer care first rather than going to store. It is also nice knowing i am not charged for any long distance or roaming fees since i am on a nationwide plan, when i had at&t they said free long distance and roaming as long as it was on their network, what kinda of sense does that make.
Like i said, i have had no p...

😁 I work for T-Mobile and I can honestly say that if/when I ever leave T-Mobile I would still keep my service with them. We have good rate plans. You get the most amount of whenever minutes that I can see. While our coverage area isn't the largest we have great coverage in most major cities. If you live in the boonies you will probably have problems though. Call up customer care at 800-937-8997 to check our coverage map. We'll tell you what kind of service to expect. Hope this helps.

Well I'm a Tmobile customer. T-mobile curently is the biggest GSM cellular company in the US. Well until Cingular and Att is final on their merging process. But I have been with most cellular companies, and I live in Atlanta Ga. Tmobile is in the 2nd Place (To Verizon W. 1st place) in best in quality when it comes to service in my area. But tmobile comes 1st place when it comes to prices. Tmobile gives you way more many minutes than other cariers. Outh of the six companies I've experienced tmobile come in 2nd. I have had Sprint and Sprint probably would come in 6th place -- da worst out of all. Maybe it's just in my area. Hopefully Tmobile has the same quality of coverage where you stay. Tmobile is increases sells and revenues -- because peo...
