Just out of curiosity...
...how many people (including roaming) does T-mobile cover? Just curious compared to at&t. I think Sprint & Verizon are pretty close in terms of voice & basic data when roaming areas are included. Just wondered if the T-mobile at&t agreements were about the same.

There was an internal memo saying 97% of Americans have coverage. This is voice of course. Not sure about 3G, although I know T-Mobile exceeded its goal of 200 million people covered by 3G by start of Q1 2010. Statistically, T-Mobile and AT&T have roughly the same number of people covered.
