OK SO TMOBILE HAS ROAMING AGREEMENTS WITH CINGULAR RIGHT?? AND SINCE MOST OF TMOBILES PHONES OPERATE ON 1900 AND CINGULAR'S 850 IS REALLY STRONG. THE MOTO A630 HAS BOTH 1900 AND 850. SO I LIVE IN THE BAY AREA...CALIFORNIA... AND I WAS WONDERING WILL THE PHONE PICK UP A SIGNAL IF IT WAS ROAMING UNDER CINGULAR'S NETWORKS??? PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! THANKS!!

T-Mobile's A630 does not have 850. It has 900/1800/1900.

How do you like it J? I had a chance to play around with one my friend owns, and I have to say it didn't particularly impress me.

Pros: I like the solid, thick feel in hand. I like the size, shape, and looks of the handset. The speakerphone isn't that bad.

Cons: The earpiece volume is horrible. It's got the usual terrible Moto GUI. Reception didn't seem all that great.

I haven't had any personal experience with the complaints you mentioned. This phone is really just a V600 in a different form factor. I like the fact that when you are on a call it will automatically transer to speakerphone as soon as you open it up.

My T-Mobile A630 does not support 850. So far I have not seen any that do. I also believe that we have not officially opened share agreements to Cingular Wireless.

Look again. It says "900 in some versions." Ours would be one of those versions.

Have you seen some with the 850? It may be referring to the Cingular version.
