Some questions before I switch to T-Mobile

I am going to switch over from Verizon because there plans are expensive and their phones suck. How much is the deductable for insurence? How do your phone upgrades work to get a phone for promo price? Is insurence worth it? Thanks

See the insurance thread for the consensus of what the current situation is and what we think of it.

Upgrades occur every 11 months on a qualifying rate plan (39.99 or higher individual or 69.99 and higher family plan) and months where you have a service interruption due to nonpay reasons don't count toward your tenure for upgrade. Of course, prices are lower with a contract extension.

Contracts are for one year only, and you can never be under contract to us for more than a year at a time.

for the phone prices you are guaranteed to get with activation, then do some shopping around to see if there are better deals available on a specific phone you want. Web site prices are with acti...

I'll place some additional emphasis on SHOP AROUND for phones.
