611 billing issues!

I just checked mytmobile.com and I noticed that it s now taking minutes from me for dialing 611 on my handset, but ironically it says customer care, with a 1-888#. It took 15 minutes from me. Then I call up and they said that their customer service number is a 1-800#. I know that already, I said. I told her its a tmobile number, cause I called it, and it routed me to the new automated new answering system.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Log on to t-mobile.com/mytmobile, and check to see.

Does it show up on your printed statement as a billed call or just that it was placed? All calls show whether you're billed for them or not.

All customer care calls are filtered out and not charged against whenever minutes, but we do show you ALL calls made whether they use whenever minutes or not. This includes any calls made to 611 or to any of our toll free numbers. As a matter of fact, the international roaming CC number is also a free call no matter where you are when you make it.

Thanks. I called customer service today to see why mytmobile.com account said I only had 20 minutes a month eventhough I have 1000 Minutes with Unlimtied Night and Weekends for $45.99 plus the add on feature of M2M, and she said tha tth erep gave me an extra 20 minutes a month until 2006, so now I have 1020 minutes with Unlimited night and weekend minutes for $45.99. I made sure that she didn't mean Bonus minutes and she said no. And also what you said about it not taking minutes out of my whenever minutes bucket. I also asked if since the rep did that to my account and added minutes to my whenever minutes, did that mess with my contract and she said no. Thank god.

That's loyalty minutes, and it doesn't affect contract. We can't just arbitrarily do stuff to an account that causes a contract extension, as a matter of fact if a call drops before we can complete a change which affects contract we can't finish it up unless the customer has already formally agreed to the contract extension script. If we do continue without the agreement, we can be fired... 😳

So now I have 20 extra minutes on my account each month until 2006? Making me have 1,020 whenever minutes from now until 2006? If, so Thats great. 😁
