Wal-mart Ringtones
This only works for phones that play mp3 or aac ringtones.
Visit www.walmart.com
Go to the CD section and choose the song you want (it must be one where there is a link to listen to a clip).
Right-click the URL for the clip and choose "Copy Shortcut"
Visit www.t-mobile.com and log into your account.
Go to the send a text message section. Send a text to your phone w/the URL pasted in the text box.
On a Moto phone when you open the text message you will have a "Go to" option in the menu. When you choose this it will auto download the Mp3 to your phone.
For aac phones (i.e. some Nokias) you will need to download the ringtone, convert it to aac (there are lots of programs that do this) and then Bluetooth it to your phone.

I haven't tried it on a V330 yet...it has worked on the A630, V300, V600, C650, V180. So I hope they didn't lock out the feature on the V188 and V330. I will try on our store demo units and let you know what happens.

Sorry, this will only work on Motorola phones. I don't know of a way to get ringtones to a SKII. As far as I can tell, they really have to be downloaded through the phone. There is pretty nice list of them, but they are the only ones you can get. âšī¸

The same procedure works with JPG images to save wallpapers to your phone. You can do this from any site offering images, not just wal-mart. Also, with any site offering snipits of mp3's.
