T-Mobile in Canada

I am going to Toranto, Canada for about a week next month. Should I take a my T-Mobile phone with me or buy a pre paid in Canada?? How much does T-Mobile charge per min. to roam in Canada. Any suggestions???

I would say good luck finding a pre-paid phone in canada for under 200.00 unless your t-mobile phone is unlocked then you could get a rogers SIM card for a semi-decent price. I dont know the T-moblile plans but that has got to be a better option especially since its only going to be a week.

If I'm not mistaken, Canada is $0.49/min roaming, and $0.20/min Long Distance (if the number dialed is not a U.S. number)...Rogers is descent, but a bit pricy...I'd say if your plan is to just take a phone with you for something to have-take your T-Mobile phone. Don't forget also, even though you may be in another country, anyone back here can still just dial your U.S. number and reach you (not an international long distance number you'd be getting with a canadian pre-paid service). If you go with the pre-paid option, you have to consider with getting a canadian number, you also have to worry about what long distance costs would be back and forth from the states.
