Re: unlocked motorola razr and T-zone

Hi I recently purchased an unlocked motorola razr. No problems with receiving or making calls. When I tried to use myphonefiles.com to sent ringtone, thats when the problem started. When I first received the message, I do the usual "go to" and only got "No availble GPRS" on my display. I then followed instructions on T-mobiles website, updated, and set Tzone GPRS as the default. I was then able to connect to browser with "go to" in the ringtone message, but got a "need to subscribe to T-zone Accept or cancel" message.

My old phone was a motorola v400 which is also an unlocked Cingular phone when purchased from the store. With my old v400, I didn't have the problem of downloading the ringtone. Can someone provide me with some inpu...

It may be sending you the ringtone in the form of an MMS - with the ringtone as an attachment. Did you configure you're MMS settings too? Also, were you trying to access a WAP site from your phone, or were you trying to send the ringtone from an HTML internet site to your phone?

You can configure a lot of unlocked phones from this site to work with T-Mobile GPRS and MMS. If you have trouble with the RAZR on T-Mobile, this site will fix it 9 out of 10 times.

If he's getting the message that he needs to sign up for t-zones, then it means GPRS has been configured, but he's trying to access external wap sites and doesn't have t-zones on his account.
