T-Mobile UK has better phones than the US
I hope t-mobile gets most of the phones they carry in the UK

I talked with Nokia about that and they said: Europe and most of the world has a unified GSM providers as opposed to the USA which has CDMA, GSM, TDMA, iDEN, and other analog networks. So when it comes to releasing phones their is a limiting agent.
Also the mojority of americans say: "I want a camera phone", "I want a free phone", "I want a colour phone"; rather than saying "I want a Nokia N91" so US providers care more of releasing phones that will apeal to the customer rather than releasing every mobile ever made. That also gives another point, since people mostly doesnt care and the whole differant gsm/cdma thing, there is no competion. The new Nokia N91 will be a hit this year, so European providers will work fast to get it before ea...

Interesting perspective. I have never thought of it but it definetly makes sense and explains the phone gaps between europe and USA. It will probably stay that way too because CDMA is not going anywhere and Americans still want free phones.
