My systems are currently upgrading... BS!
So is it just us, or has Samson been unusually sucky ever since the 6.0 upgrade? It's been incredibly slow, crashes more or less constantly, won't come back up for long periods of time and in general is giving me a gigantic migraine. It drives me nuts to be typing for a full paragraph on my notes with nothing coming up on the screen, it takes five minutes to get a usage summary up and just when I'm almost done with something it crashes and good luck getting back to that record if you didn't write it down on a stupid little piece of paper!

ROFL.....what do you mean AFTER the 6.0 upgrade?
but um, yeah...or especially when you've just hit the save button to change something and it locks up...I write the BAN down as fast as a I can cuz I know I'm going to have to reboot everything and re-do it...plus re type my memos lol

I actually haven't had any (more) problems since the upgrade. It slowed up a couple days ago, but that wasn't for very long. And I'm used to Samson doing that on occassion. 🙄

Yeah, I keep a notebook window open all the time now and I think I've sprained a finger or two copy/pasting... 🙄 Of course, one finger I sprained expressing my opinion of my computer... 😳

I used to make programs compile by opening up the floppy bay and whispering "IC extractor!" Still works, but now I whisper into the CD drive... 😉

Oh, no...that's a much too lenient approach to computer behavioral problems. You have to be tough with them. Give an inch and you'll be seeing the blue screen of death more often than not.

Ack, do tell... currently a friend and I are building a new desktop system for me and the pitfalls of trying to integrate crustyware with new equipment is just a joy and a rapture to be sure... I think I may just splurge on a new AMD motherboard and CPU and screw the weird old stuff! 🙄
