Voicemail Problem
I am using a recently purchased Motorola V635 and live in California, so I have access to the new voicemail system. Here's the problem: everytime I call my voicemail I receive a blank text message. In the 'from' field is a telephone symbol and @..then the time and date. Similarly, if someone leaves me a voicemail I get the same text message but no other notification. Any techies out there?

I had the V600 and also tried the V330. The V635 is by far the best Moto I've seen. They seem to have cleaned up all the glitches. However, be careful where you buy it from. Some of the unlocked ones come from Spain where the software that comes with the phone is incompatible with the voicemail indicators that T-Mobile US uses.

I live in California too and I get the same message on the same model phone. Is this the new system or the old? The tech I just talked to says it is a "reel to reel" message, that she had never heard of it before, but in talking to her superiors they had. She said if she shuts that off the phone would get no notifications at all. Is that true? All I get is the text message and nothing else.
