So few phones to choose! But which one is best for me?

😳

I am a current T-Mobile subscriber and my contract ends in a couple of weeks. I called today to ask what they can give me if I renew.

I got a list of which phones they have and there are only 2 that vaguely appeal to me - E315 (which I hear is being discontinued) and 3220 which is a lesser phone than my current V300. I also could get a V330 but why pay 149 bucks to upgrade when the only *real* differences seem to be bluetooth and video recorder. ?

The E315 has no speakerphone (eek!) and the 3220 is a candybar which I haven't had in a long time so both of these make me wary...

Any advice on what to pick? Would I be better off keeping my V300 and picking something up later on Ebay? I want to change my plan immediately sinc...

I'll second the not wasting your upgrade on a phone you don't really want or like. I wasted my upgrade on the Samsung c225 during a must-have-working-phone period and absolutely hated it. So much so, in fact, I reverted to my duct taped SE T68i after the emergency was over.

This weekend, however, I had a moment of weakness and ordered a Sony Ericsson Z800. Ground shipping from Hong Kong is apparently very fast-- FedEx says it'll be at my door tomorrow by 10:30am. 😁

We launch the E335 at the end of the month (supposed to at least). It seems to be a pretty neat phone. I don't know what pricing will be, but check it out...the one here is pictured in silver, but the picture at work it's either like a really, really dark blue or black color. I'm not sure which it will be.

i dont understand...there replacing the E315 for the E335...yet the e315 is in my opinion better...

the e335 has speakerphone which is great..but
the E315 has a color outside for pic caller id which i think is better then speakerphone AND it has video capture AND its smaller... what are they thinking swapping them...it should have been the other way around... E335 released first...then the E315

First of all the sidekick is a POS. Sorry about that but I had to get that off my chest first. Now back to helping you.
If you call CS and extend your plan you will not lose your upgrade discount unless you go to an indirect dealer later on to do upgrade. Always in July alot of new phones become available, so just get your promo plan and wait on your phone. Hope this helps.
