T-mobile and VoIP

Firts let me apoligize if this has already been brought up in the forum, then I'm sorry for the repeat question. I currently work for sprint and was asked a question that I couldn't answer about t-mobile's voip service. My customer was switching to sprint (she recently moved to the outer edge of town and her t-mobile just doesn't cover there) but wanted to know if sprint was offering the voip service that she has with her t-mobile.

I had heard that they had a service that they were going to start where you could plug your cell phone into a box connected to your high speed and have unlimited calls with you t-mobile number through the voip service with no overage. Is this out already? I hadn't heard.

Thanks for any info.

Nothing like what you describe is currently available, however TMobile remains aggressively interested in wireless solutions of all kinds and it's not inconceivable that we could be looking into something of the sort.

Is that circumspect enough, or should I obfuscate further? 😉
