so the voice plan thing shouldnt be an issue you said? it let me change to that west coast plan via mytmo.com and you said the reps couldnt...i just dont wanna get any suprises or anything in the near future or hope that the billing system red flags my account for having a calling plan/billing zip era...

Well honestly I really don't know why the system let you change the plan because it definately is not available in your area. I would think that if it were as easy as just changing your zip code on T-Mobile.com to make it available to you, more people would do it...I would really suggest that if you said it's supposed to take effect on your next cycle to call in and just confirm everything...just to be sure...like you said, no surprises. I mean if for whatever reason you were able to get it then right on...you said you have a west coast number...now, I've seen it where someone HAS a certain promo price plan already, and they move and need a new number...our system will not allow the change if the new number is in an area where the persons pl...

ok cool cool...but no, i didnt change my zip code on tmobile.com i already have service with tmobile. i was on the MYtmobile website and changed it that way. I am guessing that MYtmobile.com had the west coast promo plan available for me to change to because i had a west coast number on my account, even tho my account has a east coast billing address
what happens if the plan change DOES take effect, and say i call in for whatever other reason and they are taking a gander at my account and notice the price plan doesnt match the area? does anything come up saying that, or does it look like any other normal plan? cuz someone might be like "hey this plan was only available on the west side, how did he get it living on the east side?"

well my new cycle started today june 20th, i checked my account online and the plan is in full effect. i am thinking since i am saving 6 bucks on my calling plan, i may as well just pay the extra $1 and get unl m2m and itd be just like me paying the regular 45.99 a month i was already paying...nah i dont think i will do that, i have 1,000 anytime minutes to burn and i MIGHT use 250 of those daytime minutes because i have an account with cingular...bleh

I'm betting when he moved to the east coast and kept the same west coast number the submarket didn't get changed and that's what Samson bases eligibilty for rate plans on.

no thats not what he did, when i signed up i requested a west coast phone number thats all and it was given to me. i never had a west coast billing address within the tmo system.
