There is phone coverage in zip code 54234 which is not shown on the map. I also called Cust Care and they said there was not coverage there. There are several carriers, Einstein PCS, Cell One and IWS.
I thought IWS was Iowa Wireless, but this was in Wisconsin, does anyone have any info?
Also, how often are the maps updated?

Is it good coverage? I show that there's roaming coverage in Marinette, and it looks like some of it carries over across the water to the ZIP code that you gave. Also, there's been quite a few threads on this forum lately about coverage that's not shown on the PCC map.

It's decent. A little spotty, but coverage with any carrier has not been good in that area. There are not a lot of people that live there, but it is a popular vacation spot, so it has taken longer to get cell service there.

It's at least 10 miles across the water, do you think the signal would reach that far?

While I'm not able to explain why in certain areas it shows no coverage, but people can still use their phones, as I have seen that a few times, just a comment on the coverage side: 850mhz is in a lot more places than just the official test site, which is northern MN, WI, and MI. It is now starting to be updated on our interactive coverage map, which is the tool that we use at work, but not on the PCC yet as not all areas are 100% supported yet. It is growing fast in the midwest, and it shows parts of northern cali/southern OR available, west texas, northern texas and OK, western NM, and again several places throughout the midwest. If you have an 850mhz enabled device and are using it in these areas there's your answer...
