Voicemail Notification Question

Is it possible for me to receive a VM icon, rather than a text message that I have voice mail? I recently switched from another company and have been extremely pleased with my service. (Much better than another company who claims to be 👿 "Raising The Bar" 👿 )

Call customer service to see what phase your cell phone number is in.

I have the new voicemail on my phone and the voicemail icon (it looks like a black cassette tape) remains on my phone even after I check my messages and delete them. It even stays on my phone after I turn it off and on.

The only solution I have found is to remove the battery while the phone is on, wait about 30 seconds, and then put the battery back in and turn the phone on.

The phone I have is the Samsung SGH e315, so I don't know if it is an issue with my phone or if others have the same problem. I'm trying to get my phone replaced since the headset it came with no longer works and calls drop when I have full signal strength, etc., so maybe this issue is only with my defective phone?

Message indicator staying on after the messages have been heard is a known issue in a lot of markets, we're working on it! 😉

I'm glad it's being looked into. I now have to do the battery out thing each time I check my voice mail. Otherwise, it would be hard to tell if I have any new voice mails. It gets old fast...
