Ok i terminated T-Mobile and switched to Cingular December 28th. I left because I get a corporate discount at Cingulat because of where I work, 8.00 a month. However after having to pay 10 cents to send and recieve text msgs its almost exactly what I was paying at T-Mobile including text messages so I am thinking of switching back since T-Mobile works so much better in my area. My question is am I eligible for rebates on phones if I am returning?

Since it's been more than 90 days since you cancelled your service, you will just be applying as though you were a new customer. You'll have a credit check run, and since it's basically a new line you will be eligible for whatever activation deals are around--do some shopping, have fun! 😉

well let me tell you, i called today and the people are so friendly. the lady was asking about niagara falls where i live. telling me how nice it would be to have me back to tmobile and stuff. i love the coverage checker where it goes to ur neighborhood and tells u the quality by color. I just wish they had a plan that was less than the 39.99 with like 450 minutes since i pay about 32.00 at cingular after my discount. How is this new e335 phone? I have the e317 and hate it, the call quality is horendous. Also, if I get my phone from amazon.com and test it for a few days on the new number they give me, can i then port my cingular number to if it I like it? And also they have that referal program, is that only if you get it from a tmobile stor...

I wanted to ask you this too....when i had T-Mobile and even with Cingular, my phone roams from my house into Canadas signal sometimes, charging me roaming. I am never in Canada, is T-Mobile going to remove the charges like Cingular does?

You should be able to manually select the network you are on, like T-Mobile (assuming the carrier in Canada is different) and it won't switch over. Then, if you travel somewhere else change it back to Automatic.

Actually, since we don't block the function that allows you to manually select the network you're registered on you should be able to set your phone directly onto ours, which should mellow your situation out somewhat. But yeah, policy allows for crediting Canada tower roam...

ok good, cause my cousin said they gave her a hard time when it happened to her and they said only once they would do it. It very seldom happened, even though i set the phone to manual it would still go to ROGERS in Canada, but as long as I have the option to change it back and can get any charges reversed, welcome back T-Mobile!
