question to you direct dealers

Quick question regarding two party number ports.

Over the phone I cant set up two parties neither can activations. From what I understand both parties have to go to you a direct dealers w/picture id's. question is what is the process for that so i can fully explain this?

Well, I'll explain it via an example:

Bob and Cindy are recently married. They both have their own cell phones, Bob with Verizon and Cindy with Cingular. While shopping they decide to go with T-Mobile because of their amazing family plans. They want to keep their numbers. The rep activates both lines under Bob's name. Now the computer will be sending Bob's information to Cingular for Cindy's number. This will not work. The rep then needs to call the transfer center to transfer Cindy's cingular number into Bob's T-Mobile account. Tada.

Hopefully you're not just talking about a COR or this was a pointless story. Hopefully, I'm right and didn't just make a fool of myself. I need more coffee.
