I'm in the USA and will be in SE Asia in a few weeks for business, check with T-Mobile and they charge $2.99/min. for roaming. To my understand this fee is for CALLING OUT from this one country in SE Asia. Is it correct that if someone call me from home (USA), they just deplete your minutes from the plan you have, like nornal when you're back in the states (except no mobile-to-mobile)?

Thanx

any type of minutes would be the 2.99 be it you callin from that country or recieving calls. Before you go ask cust. care to unlock phone so you can buy prepaid sim card from that country while over there.

DING DING DING....thats the way to do it.

I was in New Zealand last year for two weeks, and I could only recieve calls, not make them, due to some f-up at T-Mobile. After the first couple of days, I just bought a Vodafone prepay SIM and life was good. Much cheaper to make and recieve calls.
