The chief executive of Vodafone said he does not consider it a good time for his company to acquire T-Mobile USA considering it is the last of the four national U.S. competitors and it does not have a third generation mobile network. Deutsche Telekom, the parent company of T-Mobile, is expected to make a decision by the end of the year to either sell off the unit or spend approximately $10 billion launching 3G services.
