T-Mobile Coverage Problems

Well I am having a dilemma at this point and I am wondering if someone can help me out. I have been a reader of this forum for sometime. I just moved from the Washington, DC area to the Boston area. I have been a T-Mobile customer since they were Voicestream/Omnipoint and I think Sprint Spectrum at one point. I have been a pretty loyal and good customer. I love gadgets and phones so I constantly end up buying new phones. One of the reasons I liked T-Mobile is for their customer service, GSM network when no one else had a GSM network and mainly ability to use my phone all over the world or at least the places I travel to. It is well known that T-Mobile coverage is the worst compared to the other providers, but that has not been that big of an...

Try a different phone. Maybe that will clear things up. Try a Nokia, such as the 6010 to see if it gets better reception. You can find them at Target, Walmart, or even at the T-Mobile stores. Online the phone is like $49 with minutes. You might find it cheaper at Walmart or Target.

Well, I'm definately sorry to hear you're in this dilema.

(He did say he was using a blackberry, so I don't know if he has it for a reason, or he he could go to a normal cell phone)

Even if he does, there is still no guarantee it will work in either his home or office. Yes, different phones perform differently, and can sometimes make a difference, and though I have seen on many occasion that difference being able to use the phone in places where other phones wouldn't work.

No legitimate carrier will guarantee it's coverage.
