Question for T-Mobile

i was reading an article today that talked about a possible Cingular Wireless and T-Mobile Merger the paper explained that with wireless companys being so huge and have a massive infatructure that T-Mobile will be in trouble Due to a Distant Parent company and that there and been talks between T-Moble its parent company and cingular Wireless about a possible merger i feel this would be great I currently have Cingular and love it my brother has T-mobile and i think with the 2 companys coming together it will have a company with funds that t-moible needs and a look on plans that cingular needs what do you guys think

After all the problems I've heard from people having Cingular, I would not want them as my cellular provider.

Sometimes with economies of scale it just means that there is more of an incentive to cut corners. I for one hope that T-Mobile will not merge.

Only thing I don't like the sound of a merger/buyout, is because we might lose our nice price plans, and minutes, and have to sign 2 year agreements like what Cingular did to AT&T wireless customers after their merger, eventhough they claim the merger would benefit the AT&T wireless customers as well as the Cingular customers.
