I do 🙂 (but I pay $9.95 for my lines plus a couple extra).

Honestly if I stop working for T-Mobile I'll probably go to verizon only because my cell is my only phone, and I depend on it...and in my house T-Mobile is pretty bad...it works, but not great. I know that sounds like a minor point, but it matters a lot when your cell is your only phone.

Then why don't you get a landline? I'm lucky, my T-Mobile cell works great in my home, so I can use it as my only phone. But if my signal was bad (like my husband's Cingular cell that he uses for work) I would DEFINITELY get a home phone. What if there was an emergency and the cell was getting a bad signal? 😳

I actually went that route with my last condo where I got absolutely no coverage at all...at least in my house now, I can make and receive calls...it only drops a few of them, but gets really distored and cuts in and out a lot...I guess what I'm trying to say is it works good enough for $9.95/mo lol

I'm not a big talker anyway, so I couldn't justify paying for both a cell phone and home phone...I'd rather just have one with one bill.

I have T-Mobile. I moved over from NEXTEL a few years ago. Ironically, I moved for cost reasons, but ended up with better service coverage as well. The only place I didn't get good coverage was on a business trip to Charleston, SC. Here in Los Angeles, I get pretty good coverage. I just really need to get a new phone. Mine drops a lot of calls and will sometimes go from full bars to none without moving an inch.

Have you called up CC or checked your account online to see what kind of discount you can get?

I have logged on and checked, but I don't think I want to invest in any of the phones they have right now. I was really hoping that they would have got the V635, but now it isn't coming to a national US carrier, so I have to wait for something like it to come. I could get the V330 or V3, but for some reason I am just not willing to make the purchase right now. Some of it is that whole mail in rebate thing. I keep hearing about the instant rebate, but all they have online is the mail in. So, I will wait until something pops up in the future. Last time I bought a phone too quickly I ended up wishing I had waited a week for the V300 to come out.

Why can't people on phonescoop, in any forum, spell? You are on the internet, everything communicated is typed, it's not the place to do things phonetically... i blame "tracfone".

I have T-Mobile and switched from Verizon because of poor reception in my area due to a tower outage (unacceptable for someone who lives in a big city).

So far, I get better reception with T-Mobile even though my phone isn't that great (Samsung e315). Judging by the fact that I get decent reception despite having a fair quality phone, I am looking forward to when I upgrade to a higher-end phone...

I use the prepaid.. as well as cingular prepaid.. I like their plans more but the signal is a bit more shaky. It might just be the phone though.
