How is the service in Long Island, NY, Queens and Brooklyn? Any comparisons to VZW would help. Thanks

My daughter lives in Brooklyn near Queens and just switched from Verizon to T Mobile because of price and says that her signal strength is better with T Mobile from her apartment.
