I keep waiting and hoping that T-Mobile will get a phone that I want, but so far I just keep waiting. Don't get me wrong I like the V330 and the V3, but they aren't what I am looking for. Hopefully something will come out sooner rather than later. My contract has been up for some time and I would really like to upgrade.

I'm also waiting for better phones to come out. It looks like it will be fairly soon, but I won't be eligible for a full upgrade until early next year anyway. It might actually work in my favor since the price tends to go down if you wait a few months after the phone comes out. I would like to see a good Nokia with bluetooth, a smartphone with WM 5.0 or a new Sidekick...

Yeah, that would be nice, and especially if they have EDGE... I can't wait to get rid of my Samsung e315. I'm getting tired of the poor voice quality, unreliable reception and limited features of that phone.

On Motorola's website, the SLVR has been updated and it doesn't say EDGE anymore. Now, we will have to see about the PEBL next.

The PEBL is the only one I was paying attention to. I don't really like bar style phones. But yes, we will have to wait and see. Again, I don't mean any offense to Rich, but I have to go with the official sources. I am guessing of course that Rich knows people in motorola that are releasing official information to him, but that of course is just a guess. Wish T-Mobile was more forthcoming with information.

Yeah, I don't like bar phones either. I prefer flip phones. The only 3 bar phones I had, were the Samsung R225m, Nokia 3390, and the Motorola Talkabout T2282.

Here you go Terry. This is in the moto info archive. The PEBL is listed as having GPRS. Granted the other listing still shows EDGE even though it list GPRS in there as well.

At this point, the only Moto flip phone that looks worth a darn for T-Mobile will be the V360. To bad because the V635 was a great phone and no company here got it. The RAZR although a nice looking phone doesn't have as many features as even the V551 much less the V360 and the PEBL had even less features than the RAZR even before the possiblity of not having EDGE. Again, good looking phones, but I was hoping for a little more from Moto. But I will have to wait and see. But for now, it is looking more and more like I will get a RAZR. Or maybe wait for the V3X and move to Cingular (I don't like think I really want to go to Cingular, but it could be an option).

Why don't you wait for the "RAZR 2"? The RAZR that is out now, is crap. Its basically the V600 in a thing, and wide hardware cover. It has the same features as the V600. Plus, the T-Mobile version only has 8 seconds of recording time for the video option.
