Newbie mistake...

If any T-mobile reps are out there any help would be appreciated...I have decent experience with CDMA phones over the past 6.5 years, but 2 weeks ago I got a T-Mobile phone. Out of curiosity, I tried some of them codes that are out there that showed Hardware version, software version, stuff like that. I thought I steered clear away from codes that reset stuff like EEPROM, but one code showed up as "general defense code erased". What does that mean? So far, I I can't access T-Zones anymore. Not that I care much, because I don't have the web enabled, nor do I have the cash to buy ringtones or games. But I hope that is all the damage I have done to it. By the way, I have a Samsung SGH-x495.

Thank you.

I've been with TMobile for over 3 years and I have never heard of "general defense code erased". Good luck with that. You might want to call Samsung.

You may need to have the settings resent from T-Mobile...go to their web site, click on support, click on services, find either tzones or tmobileweb, and send the settings from there. Or call customer care and get them from them. Other than that, call Samsung
