Don't buy that crap. The ROKR E1 is the same as the Motorola E398 with Apple Itunes built-in, and with the white hardware color. Just buy a E398 and get you a Ipod nano, and you are set.

Even if T-Mobile were to get this phone, it will be months away, since Cingular has the exclusive on this phone.

Maybe T-Mobile will get the upgraded model, if Motorola and Apple make one.

well, T-Mobile will be getting the Nokia 6101 as well as the RAZRberry(estimated 1st quarter of next year) as well as the wizard and also, I think that with all the handsets that Cingular brings out that a lot of them have bugs in them and are just removed from their line-up anyway (6230, p207, lg slide phone) I think T-Mobile tests their phones a little bit longer to ensure they are selling a quality product instead of bombarding their consumers with a bunch of products that will have to be replaced 3-6 months later. Case in point, T-Mobile is very selective on the handsets they bring out. 🙂

Screw that, the only reason they don't come out with better phones quicker is because they are cheap asses and wait for the phones to become cheaper.

Bug testing my ass, their phone are just as buggy as Cingular, especially the s**tty Motorola's they get.

As for the Nokia 6101, Cingular is getting it too. Hell thats probably the only reason T-Mobile is getting it.

T-Mobile pissed me off so much with their phone selection that I finally decided to buy an unlocked Sony Ericsson S700i.

I wish more people would buy an unlocked phone instead of whining about this or that carrier not having the phone. It's GSM!!! Pop in your SIM and program the data settings and away you go.

I see your point. And GSM is the reason i'm with T-Mobile. But the fact that is even though I have an unlocked phone, I'd rather have T-Mobile carry it because phones through a provider are subsidized and cheaper than buying unlock (in most cases).

What kind of idiotic response is that? I'm a T-Mobile customer, and maybe you didn't know but its a companies job to keep its customers happy.

well, I guess you missed my point. My point was, if you can't personally fix the "problem" yourself, I think it's stupid to sit and moan about it. They are doing what they can as a carrier to bring out phones that do the things consumers want. They have phones that have BT, camera's, speakerphones, organization, e-mail, internet. I just don't see what else you could possibly want ??? I think you made a wise decision in purchasing a phone you like that does what you want, I wish the U.S.A wouldn't lock their phones so more consumers could do what you've done. Like I keep saying, in retail, it's hit and miss with products. You win and lose some battles.

THe p207 was NOT discontinued because of bugs. They are simply releasing a different version in pearl white.

You said " T-Mobile tests their phones a little bit longer to ensure they are selling a quality product "

Well what can you say for the Moto C332 that was so bad they starting giving everyone new V66's after they exchanged it ONE time. The Cing. C331 didn't have those problems

How about the V180 that the screen would go blank or go psychadelic after 3 days of use? Not to mention the V180 att and cingular version did not have that problem....

Or how about the Nokia 6010 that had the "insert sim"

How about the HP IPAQ 6315? That thing is a fancy paperweight. I just used the HP 6515 that cingular is launching this month and it is unbelievalbe how much better it is then the 6315.

How about the A630 that tmo came out with...that ph...

Not in the near future. It took 8 months or so post release of the RAZR to get it at T-Mobile.
