T Mobile Knoxville Tn

I emailed Tmobile about service in Knoxville Tn and was told that they only have roaming service here at the moment but will be adding their own service soon.Does anyone know if this is true?

I've heard we are setting up towers there...but its only rumor at this point...sorry.

It looks to be true if you look at their coverage maps. What I find interesting is that when I was in Nashville about a month ago I didn't roam. I would think Noxville (being a larger city) wouldn't be a roaming area. But I guess not.
