Phones with external ant. connection?
As a lot of you probably know, T-Mobile reception in outlying areas can be very spotty.
The recent job I took (and the place we moved to) are in the very fringe areas of reception, but I don't want to change carriers.
I'm looking for a phone that offers an easy external antenna connection option. The Moto V180 and V330 I have can accept an ext. ant. but you have to take the back cover off to do it!
Didn't all phones used to be able to be hooked up to an ext. ant. in your car? Remember you used to see cars with those foot long black ant. on the rear window?
Phonescoop indicates that the new Nokia 6101 has some sort of different jack on it than most phones, but doesn't really explain the difference.

FYI, the V330 we have always gets one more bar of reception strength than the V180 we have.

Nokia 5190, 6190 and 6310i have external antenna jacks.
The 6101 has a different charger lead than do most every other Nokia model. You can get an adapter though to...
