PTT? what is the big deal?
OK, So I keep hearing people in my area and people on this site wondering when or if T-Mobile will get PTT. Can someone please present a good argument on how you think PTT is more efficient or better than just regular cell service? Because from what I can see, PTT is so snnoying and inefficient. You have to wait for that stupid chirp and then talk, then wait for them to get it and then wait for them to chirp and talk back. It just seems like a little kids game to me (you know, back in the day when I got my army man combat set for christmas and my brother and I played with those walky-talkies for days) I dunno, this is more of a general wonder on what all of your opinions are 🙂 thanks guys and gals

As someone who's had to use Nextel for work I can comfortably say that PTT is the stupidest idea around. Who bloody cares to use it? It's like voice text messaging or something equally useless. It's great for business use because it's quick and cheap, but otherwise for personal use it's strictly for people who never got the Ranger Rick Walkie Talkies for Christmas... 🙄
