Any help here would be cool, does anyone know if the Nokia 6600 offered by T mobile is carrier unlocked??

You can't unlock T-Mobile phones. You can only unlock T-Mobile SIM cards for travel overseas. This is something that is widely misunderstood and something that I have confirmed with many T-Mobile employees. I am also not aware of any 90 waiting period that you have to wait out in order to unlock your SIM card.

Actually, what we do, after 90 days in service, is a SIM subsidy unlock which allows the phone to use a SIM card from another carrier. The SIM card doesn't need to be "unlocked" to use overseas, only a world dialling/roaming feature needs to be added to the account to allow international dialling and roaming.
