That's exactly it. The prepaid services today are pretty much all focused on the customer who doesn't qualify for the regular contracts (ie. cingular's go phone and verizon's InPulse). I used to have my old cingular prepaid service of 35 cent/10 cent weeknights (starting at 7)/weekends, and that was great for the casual user (roughly $20-$25 a month). Those days are over. The closest to that type of honest prepaid is T-Mobile's. The basic reason is pure business; It's not cost-effective for the coorporations to do.

Prepaid is great if you don't use your phone a lot. For people who use a minimum of 200 minutes a month or more, I suggest post-paid wireless.

If you have a t-zone capable phone with T-mobile, you should be able to download ringtones, games, and wallpapers. It would just deduct from the car that is on the account. If you have one of our older phones, like the nokia 3390 or samsung R225 they are not compatible with t-zones. Or, if you have a moto V66, which is t-zones compatible since it uses mono tones and has black and white screen, it will not work.
