I need a new phone, upgrades?

Hi,

I've had service with T-Mobile for almost 2 years now. I've never upgraded the phone, I still have the Nokia 3595.

What do you consider to be the best phone that t-mobile carries? A good camera might be nice, but is not a hure priority.

When I went in to the t-mobile store a few months ago, they wanted 199.00 plus a one year contract for a razr!!

So, I've been a customer for 2 years, never upgraded.. and I get the same deal a NEW customer would? =(

Any advice? Thanks!

well yes upgrades are usually at the same price as a new customer, sometimes even lower. this is the case for most cell phone companies

Bite the bullet...get a RAZR.

You'll be glad you did.

If you want a good phone...DON'T GET THE V330. Since you mentioned a RAZR you are probably looking for a flip phone (most people are).
The only flip phone at a reasonable price that I would recommend is the Moto V188. If you go to your MyTMobile account online I think right now you can get a better deal than what even customer care can offer.

I agree and partially disagree:

Agree that:

- RAZR v3 is better than v330

Disagree that:

-v330 is a bad phone. I recently upgraded my wife's line to that phone and my own to the v188, both for free btw. However, price irrespective, just considering each phone in its own merit, the v330 blows the v188 far and away.

Why I think so...

Please define ``Best". You say you want a camera phone but it's not a priority. What else are you looking for in a phone. For me ``Best" would be an A630 (if you can still find one) but my requirements may not be the same as yours.

Honestly the best phone depends on what you want. Like another person said what you consider the best may not be what I consider the best. But here are a few pointers on our phones that are currently offered on upgrades. If you want a camera phone the Razr is definitely top of the line, if you aren't wanting the top model, the V330 is a great phone along with the samsung e335 and e635, also the new nokia 6101. And if you don't mind not having a flip try the Nokia 3220. Generally speaking Nokia has been one of the best phones that any carrier has offered; they are durable and have less issues. If you don't really care about a camera...try the 6010 it is the newer version of the 3595. If you have to have a flip try the X475 or X495 mad...
