I was initially subscribed to T-Mobile Web ($5.99), in order to have access to WAP pages, etc, via my cell phone. I then upgraded to T-Mobile Internet($19.99), in order to use an EDGE wireless data card with my laptop.
I knew I might still want to access WAP pages on my phone, so I left my T-Mobile Web subscription in place. T-Mobile did not tell me that this is NOT NECESSARY!
T-Mobile Internet INCLUDES T-Mobile Web (and t-zones).

When I was upgraded I was told I didn't need to keep the extra $5.99 service.
What EDGE card did you get? I don't see them listed on the T-Mobile web site yet?

Schweet... what was the price tag on it? I've been tempted to get an EDGE card for my laptop--I have a WiFi card and a network card, might as well complete the collection! 🤣

If you are already paying the $20.00 a month for the SKII data plan, do you have to pay an additional $20.00 if you purchase an edge card for a laptops? I have heard you do & don't, anyone clarify this for me?
...
Yes, you would need to pay an extra $20.00 because the Sidekick uses a special GPRS network that can not be used be other GPRS device. So, you could get another SIM card, just for data for the EDGE card.
