I applied to Cingular to work as a rep, and I have an interview next week. If I am hired, I will cancel my T-Mobile service. Would I still have to pay the ETF?

Yes of course you will have to pay etf if u are in a contract with t-mobile.But if your not on a contract then u wouldnt have too.

It doesn't matter who you work for. Unless you are going to work for Cingular in China or something and are going to live there then no. Just because you start working for another service provider doesn't mean you get out of an ETF. (FYI...it is $200 in case you didn't know)

u could drop down to the TM basic plan for $19.99 and ride it out. no charge for that and its probably worth it since u only had a 1yr contract.
