Change from Family Basic (700) to Family Basic (400)
There was Family Basic Plan with 400 minutes but now there is only family basic plan but with 700 minutes. I am wondering, if I activate a new service of two lines with Family Basic 700, is there any chance that I can change the plan to Family Basic 400? Thanks.

I have the 400 family plan since 2 years ago. I believe they dumped that plan, the lowest family plan now starts at 700 minutes. But it's only $10 difference, hope you feel OK with that. 😉

I know how you feel. I was on T-Mobile's basic plan because I hardly ever use my phone. Cingular's smallest plan is 450 minutes, 5000 N/W unlimited mboile-mobile for 40 a month. I was so used to paying 20 a month.

You can still get this plan but there is a but...
Since the promotion dropped we are not supposed to activate $49.99 shared plans but go to most stores (or call customer care) and their system will still say its available in its original form. That is:
400 shared anytime minutes, unlimited weekends, unlimited mobile-to-mobile
You will not receive unlimited nights as this was considered part of the promotion. But if you only need a few minutes this is the way to go.
(This info was up to date when I did something similar for a customer about a week ago.)
