A free phone from T-Mobile and get a "virtual" payment of $9.01 but...
Here's how you do it:
Target sells the T-Mobile To Go "package" with the Nokia 6010 for $39.99. This includes $15 of airtime credit. There is a $30 rebate on the Nokia 6010 *but* the rebate is not authorized from Target, Walmart or Sam's Club.
Here's where you have to start to work:
Buy the Nokia 6010 at Target for $39.99 + sales tax.
Go to Staples. Staples has the same T-Mobile T-Mobile to go package but their package they charge $79.99 for the same package that you just got at Target. Staples has a 110% matching policy. Staples credits you $44.00. You walk out of Staples with the same package and pay only $35.99. I'm not sure why but I was evidently not charged state sales tax. So... you have...

Oooops, this one was a freebie...

Bro and I mean this in the nicest possible way. What the f&*k? Honestly why did you go through all that time and gas to save $30 bucks.
The only "gas" that I wasted was whatever my share of King County Metro's diesel bus used to get me and all the other passengers there. If you'd read the whole posting you'd see that it took me 1.5 hours since I was on foot! And both Staples and Target are in the same shopping center so I didn't go all over the place to do that either.
Maybe I did it just *because* I could do it! I didn't have anything special that required that I devote a bunch of time to it. It was 1.5 hours out of everything I would normally do. So I didn't go to the gym today BFD!

Not jealous because I wouldn't do all that because I would never get prepaid. I like to be able to call and not worry about am i going to run out of minutes.
You evidently missed the part about getting *paid* to get the offer. I use monthly billed as well, but if I'm offered a free phone and free airtime why would I want to look down my nose at such an offer? Not five minutes after I got the phone home I went to an unlock site and unlocked the phone. Even if I don't use the minutes I can use a good phone for when I go to Canada.

I have a question: How did Target let you return a handset that was missing the rebate and the airtime certificate? That's a little bit dishonest if you ask me. You must not have any morals. Shame on you! 😈
You need to pay attention! I did no such thing. I bought the package and didn't open it. I took the package unopened to Staples with my Target receipt. As it was originally explained Target, Sam's Club and another business (which I can't recall at the moment) are not eligible for the $30 rebate. Staples is.

When you figure out how to buy a new Lexus this way, be sure to let us know... 🙂
A Lexus for me would be more trouble than it's worth. Reigstration, gas, insurance, anti-theft systema place to garage it, etc. etc. I'd rather use my bike, metro, my feet or taxis.
in my hood you can probally get a new hdtv with you free nokia from "jeff in the alley"
