I have 3 questions for TMOBILE phones?
1) Does Razr(or other quad band) phone pick cingular (both GSM 850 /1900 ) signal or does it pick only 1900 (similar to Tmobile).
2) What happens in the market where Tmobile is not avaiable and Cingular has GSM 850? Does the phone stop working?
3) Does Free Roaming include other companies?

Dude!
1. yes it does pick up gsm 850 and 1900 in the USA. T-mobile is only a 1900 carrier but also can use 850mhz.
2. no it will work wherever their is 850 and 1900 coverage available with t-mobile roaming partner.
3. yes it includes free roaming with most companies. Which is the same for cingular.

Firstly, Thanks a lot.
Secondly, How sure are you? Because this will make me ditch cingular and go with Tmobile.
Any other drawback?

I read that too. What I want to know is if TMOBILE somehow locks the phone to pick only specific frequencies/services?
