Howard Forums member cmc0 posted an updated Tmo map in the forum, it is very impressive to see how much larger the coverage area is.

That’s good, but don’t let it be a selling point. My residence falls within what they call an excellent coverage area. I have zero bars here. Just a thought.

that almost seems too good to be true. its great for t-mobile that they addeed so much more coverage, but how much of that new coverage is roaming? because that new map looks almost identical to cingulars coverage.

Looks like the T-Mobile coverage map that "Let's Talk" is displaying.

I would stick with the coverage maps on the T-Mobile website...which are more sparse than this one, btw.

No idea where Let's Talk got that map; but I'm sure T-Mobile isn't complaining! 🙂

Thats because it is Cingular's coverage. At least all of our wholly owned network coverage. We recently allowed T-Mobile to sign roaming agreements with us. So T-Mobile gets more places to roam, and Cingular gets some capital to help pay for the UTMS/HSDPA network!

Actually, a lot of the coverage is with small regional providers. There are now places where Cingular has coverage that T-Mobile doesn't, and places where T-Mobile has coverage where Cingular doesn't.

yea, i am impressed to by their continuing of the coverage expansion that they have planned for.. i saw in my area that coverage has expanded and increased also where before there was no coverage here what-so-ever.

very impresses tmobile!!

i guess those 1+ million subscribers that they got in the 3rd quarter were impressed too.

i think becuase of this we should continue their continued growth with subscribers..

kuddos to tmobile!

their coverage got a little better but not with roaming from cingular but from "Dobson" and i believe "US Cellular" (not sure on that one though.) the map is also like everyone else which is not like t-mobile, exaggerated!
