Guys and Gals,
Here are a list of potential purchases for T-Mobile (some of these are based on no more than the fact that they are a GSM carrier)
Airadigm Communications-
Centennial Wireless-
Dobson Wireless-
Edge Wireless-
Iowa Wireless-
Triton Wireless-(Suncom)
I, for a while, thought that T-Mobile would buy out Western Wireless for a few reasons including the fact that they were created by a former VoiceStream creator. The fact that they had decent coverage in rural areas.

Edge Wireless is an ATTWS affiliate. After Cingular bought ATTWS, Cingular took over ownership of Edge Wireless.

When I read the story on this site, I noticed that they're looking at Centennial Wireless. My brother is considering going with them because Centennial offers free incoming calls. I don't know how their network is, but if T-Mobile purchased them, they would have to spend a lot of money to convert all towers to GSM as some towers are still TDMA and a few are still analog. T-Mobile doesn't do a good job maintaining their network in NW Indiana. I don't see how they'll be able to maintain Centennial Wireless's network if it isn't already in bad shape. Plus if they acquire the Caribbean portion of the service, they would have a CDMA network on their hands. Why did Centennial Wireless go with GSM in the states, but CDMA in the Caribbean?
