I think they pushed the T809 back to the 12th, is because they always release phones on Monday.

Oh man it's the 12th now?? that freakin sucks! Guess i won't be getting that phone.. i'm outside my 14 days.. poop on tmobile!

Try calling your local T-Mobile store where you bought it, and/or call customer care, and see if they can notate your account to let the store know, and see if they can give you the phone when it comes out.

You mean call to see if they can just exchange it and let me pay the difference even though i would no longer by within my 14 day grace period?

Your best bet would be calling the store since Customer Care cannot change in store policies.

Customer Care will not do the echange for it. The store will not do it either since u are out of ur 14 day remorse period. sorry.

He said that on the 9th, that will be his 14th day. He was going to give it back when the T809 came out, but the pushed it back.

Talked to a T- Mobile Store clerk who said the T-809 is still on for this Friday the 9th. He said
that he got word yesterday 12/5 that the 9th was still on as the release date. i don't know maybe its Monday in some places and Fridays in others? 🙂

well i called customer care yesterday and the rep informed me that i would need to contact the store in which i purchased the phone and see if they would "extend" my 14 day period so that i woudl be able to exchange my phone for that one when it comes out on monday ( hopefully). so i'll be going over there today after work and see what the say.

I went into the store and those bitches said i couldn't extend my 14 day exchange period!! Damn you tmobile for extending the release on the T809!!! I guess i'll just wait till a year from now when they have some bad ass phone but i won't get it till it actually comes out.. oh well this is my fault anyway for jumping the gun!

U could sell it on Ebay. Then use the money to get the T809.

Why not return the phone today, cancel the contract. Then get T-809 next week with a new contract.

well if he cancels the contract, he would not be able to join tmobile for 90 days. by then we should have the tmobile MDA out and some other great phones

except the fact that i ported my number and if i cancel i would therefor be forfitting that number.. not good! It's ok i will just live w/ my v360 for a year and by then i'm sure they'll have some awesome phones out that'll blow the t809 out of the water!

ex. The E715 great phone, had for 3 years. Nouthing comparable till the P735 for a LOT of money.
