NEW MS TREO for TMOBILE???
I see that Verizon is advertising the new Treo on their website soon to be released. Given the fact that TM is slower than DIRT to get new phones, what are the chances of TM getting the new Treo? For Gods sake, they couldnt even get the Treo 650!! I need to keep TM for the service in my area, and I want a Treo, since TM wont carry smartphones such as the Samsung 500/600.

T-Mobile and Cingular can not get the Treo 700w since Verizon has an exclusive on it, as u can see in the Verizon wireless ad.

Plus, the Treo 700w is not yet announced to be coming to a GSM carrier. T-Mobile didn't carry the 650 since its almost the same as the 600 model, but it has EDGE, which they didn't have EDGE at the time when the 650 first came out. Plus Palm already announced more Treo's to come, so some might be GSM models.

Why wouldnt TM try to keep up with the other carriers? Their selection year after year is WEAK. They have had 3 years now to come up with a smartphone similar to the Samsung 500/600 clamshells and havent budged.

actually, after V330, T-Mobile phone selection is getting better (after made decision to sell 850 support phones)

The reason the 600 sucks is b/c of poor screen rez and lack of bluetooth. Obviously, Palm saw this when they released the 650. I GUARANTEE that TM would have sold many many 650's if they were available for TM service. I want a smartphone/pda type; Im thinking of the Blackberry 7105. It looks good and most of the reviews I reads were OK. It seems to mirror many Treo functions and TM carries it. I really want a Treo, but I hear that the new Treo 700 with the MS operating system will ony be available thru Verzion....FIGURES!!!
