If I have a SIM card for pay as you go, could I buy an unlocked Razr and put the sim card in it...would it work for pay as you go? If its t-mobile compatable. Thanks!

Yes, it will work if the phone is unlocked(if its not a T-Mobile phone), and you are in an area where T-Mobile has native coverage(no a roaming area), since pre-paid can not roam on other carriers. Only Post-paid T-Mobile SIM cards can roam where T-Mobile has a roaming agreement in that area.
