yes, but you'll have to run a credit check so u may get deposit. Yes, you will have to sign a 1 year contract to begin service.

If u do sign up, u might as well grab a free phone. It won't cost u a penny and you'll have back-up phone.

I don't know about where everyone lives at, but in NW Indiana, there's only one corporate store, and the rest are authorized agents, and all have told me that they rarely require a deposit from anyone, including someone who might be going through a bankruptcy. They won't tell me what they (the agents) do to waive the deposit, but many do it.

I can't see why you should have the option to activate the phone in your hand already via Customer Care as opposed to having to go to the store.

SUSCEPTIBILITY TO DEPOSIT: this is dependent upon your credit rating solely as they look at your abilities to pay balances off on time ,etc. So effectively, the only answer here is dependent closely upon your credit history.

By the way, which phone do you have in your possession?

you dont have to activate a monthly account. you can buy just a SIM card from a store for about $20.00 ( from direct stores , indirect store will probly charge more ) and then activate a pre-paid account by calling into customer service.

Sorry. To activate prepaid you need an activation code. Just having the SIM isn't good enough. To get an activation code you need to get an activation kit either by buying the "kit" or buying a phone.
