Looks like T-Mobile USA did quite well again during this 4th quarter 2005 because they signed up 1.4 million net new subscribers.

The following are the highlights for the quarter:

1.4 million Net new subscribers
Direct new net= 911,000
Prepaid/wholesale= 489,000
Churn= 2.3%
ARPU= (I actually could not find this number. When I am able to find it, I will post it)

Total subscribers= 21.7 million

This year in 2005, they signed up 4.4 million and in 2004, they signed up 4.2 million, which shows very good growth.

Pretty good year and quarter for T-mobile USA I think, they will be a great competitor in this industry once they successfully bid for the 3g spectrum in the June of this year and other auctions that will arise.

That is very true.. T-mobile is doing quit well despite the problem that they are currently facing. Let’s hope that when they get these problems fixed, especially during the June of 2006 auction for 3g spectrum, that they will increase their net adds.

there're several changing factors for T-Mobile in 2005 to gain more customers
1. more 850 roaming agreement, it sounds like T-Mobile is forming a union with small regional carriers, to form a nice-looking coverage
2. improved phone selection, once T-Mobile got a decision to sign 850 roaming agreement, phone selection started to change (from samsung E335, X475, nokia 3220, and moto V188, V330)
3. EDGE rollout: this improved wireless dial-up provides up to 200k speed, enough for most of the need (except you watch internet TV or do internet sharing)
4. award-winning CS

1. yea whenever you have more roaming agreements, it will be great, but most importantly is to build more towers and to acquire more spectrum.
2. yes, whenever you have an attractive phone portfolio whether they are pc cards or regular phones and pdas that will usually tend to increase your net adds
3. yes, EDGE is another useful solution however, there are better solutions out there currently and EDGE might not be a useful tool against those other high-speed solutions.
4. yes, that is true. Continued success and awards with customer service and others will help you do quite well.

I think most importantly is that they need to continue to sell prepaid like prices and features to the lower tiered customers but they should go after t...

It will be four years in April. Her loss has heavily effected her family. Her younger sister has her own forum, and she still can't talk about it because it is too painful still.

Left Eye was the most wonderful person to walk this planet after Jesus.

I agree with you about your feelings towards Left Eye and that is usually the case when you mourn someone’s loss.

Not sure that I agree with your Jesus comment because I am Jewish so I don’t believe in him.
