raw price of MDA and SDA?

since I'm gonna get SDA or MDA once I go back to states, and I'd prefer to upgrade without touching the contract, then I'd like to know the raw price of both

the price of Dopod 838 (Wizard-based, same form factor as Cingular 8125) is $6000 in Hong Kong!!! ($770)
I'd pick one from T-Mobile, I'll use it anyway once I go back to states
