Info on the T-809
I personally work for cingular and my girlfriend works for T-Mobile. She won a free T-809 and is giving it to me. I was gonna port my number over and use one of her employee plans for a few months till some cooler phones came out for cingular then probably port my number back to my cingular employee plan.
I am looking for any info that people have on this phone either from working at T-Mobile or from owning it personally. Things you like or dislike. I have read the In depth review from phone scoop and I know all the specs for it but im looking for input from people that have had it or been handling it for awhile. How's the functionality? How's the camera since it doesnt have flash? Does it wear quickly? does the slide start getting stiff ...

I love the phone. I've had it for about 2 months now. The battery life is the only thing that i have had reason to complain about. its not great if you use the MP3 alot, or play videos frequentally. I charge it everynight out of necessity not desire. the camrea is great. although a fash would be nice it works great for what it is. The video is good too. it doesnt get too grainy if you move around with it while your recording. I'm mean its still only a 1.3Mp so it has its limitations, but for what it is i think its great. the slider is a good quality. It has gotten a bit squeaky when you squeeze it but nothing serious. all in all i thinks itsa great phone. Try it out...everyones preferences are differant so you might not like it like i do...B...
