SDA funkyness

I tried using the SDA for a few days and I thought it was OK. It's way better to have a laptop. I tried to sync it with my apple and it's a pain in the @$$. T-Mobile has no support for apple whatsoever, however Apple has support for sync-ing their computers with any cell phone, but they can't guarentee that SDA will be an effective wifi card/modem for my laptop. So I just bought an airport card and I'm way happier.

The wifi features on the SDA were pretty cool, other than that if you have a laptop you're better off. I switched back to my Nokia 3220 and it rocks.

I don't know if you guys noticed but everyone seems to be dumping their MDA's and SDA's and getting Nokias. Maybe it's because NOKIAS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem is with Apple not offering support of Windows Mobile handsets & PDAs.

Actually Apple does offer software support for syncing the phone, they have a program called DataPilot, but I didn't want to buy it, I probably could have used isync which works great, but I thought T-Mobile or HTC would have support and they don't.

Well the issue with isync is the fact it's apple and we have to contend with the Jobs/Gates battle. Apple won't support the new 'windows' smartphones. If there was a phone that emulated apple osx you'd probably have the same issue on a windows platform.

Here's a link for isync compatible phones.
And here's my two cents worth - WE WANT MORE NOKIA SMARTPHONES PLEASE!!! 😁

Thanks

Actually Datapilot works fine with it, and that's software the Apple has made to sync with any phone, even if it's Windows based. Depending on where you buy it the software costs from 30 bucks and up. And a lot of Windows applications are become very Mac friendly, hence the entire MS Office Suite for Apple, not to mention Internet Explorer and so MS applications. Since OSX is open ended software it's a lot easier to make new software, especially for companies like Microsoft and Adobe.

And I agree, more Nokia smartpones would do everyone some good.
