I’m a new to T-Mobile and just bought the Samsung t-809 I want to buy the V3i too. Will my SIM chip work with the Motorola V3i also? Are they all the same size? Also what are some of the things I should look out for when buying phones to work with my T-Mobile service? I need someone to explain to me the modes 850 1900 are for the United States is that correct? I’m confused on this? Anything you can answer or add to these questions is most appreciated. Can I buy the V3I from here?

We use 1900 here in America. T-Mobile sims are all the same size. Actually all the sims are the same size. The Moto V3i will work for you. Though the internet and multimedia messaging will not. You will have to call t-mobile so they can program it for you. They have to send it over the air. Just tell them its a regular v3 and it will be easier.

not all phones have same sim card chip size trust me, but majority are. you would have to get any outside carriers phone configured what we call a OTA, over-the-air configuration. takes about 24 hours for the settings to become functional

I'm not understand this would this be simple call customer service call and ask for an over the air configuration. Is this a common practice? And why would I have to say that it's V3 with I have the V3i? What if I would not a completly different phone and nothing would be a similiar match. What I'm I not understanding? Can someone explain step by step so it makes sense. Thank You and also if the 1900 band is for US the other 3 are for where? 😕
